In the 1950s it had taken on an incredible bond with the surf culture, and it was called the “Sidewalk surfing”. It is also founded by the International Association of Skateboard Companies in California, and this day is grown into a worldwide celebration of the sport

The real revolution of sport happened in the 1960s when skateboarding started taking on a larger and larger following. In 1965 the first competition was launched, and John Steverson said that Today’s Skateboarders are the founders of this sport and they are pioneers, they are the first, there is no history in the skateboarding it is being made now by you.
