International Women in Engineering Day is observed on June 23 of every year. It is an international event celebrated during Engineers Week each year. Engineering is the branch of science and technology involved with the design, building, and use of engines, machines, and structures, and one who practices engineering is called an engineer. It has developed from a national, into an international awareness campaign to increase the profile of women in engineering and focus on the exciting career opportunities available to girls in Engineering.

On this day, encourage everyone to join in to help celebrate women in the amazing industry and encourage major girls and young women to consider engineering as a career. So they learn that they have a place in the engineering world.
