History of World Day For International Justice or International Justice Day
World Day for International Justice is observed on July 17 because it is the anniversary of adopting the Roman statute, it is a treaty that was created in the International Criminal Court. On June 1, 2010, at the Review Conference of the Rome Statute that was held in Uganda, the Assembly of State Parties decided to celebrate 17 July as the Day of International Criminal Justice. People around the world host events every year to promote international criminal justice to support the International Criminal Court.
