World Day for International Justice is observed on July 17 of every year. This is also known as Day of International Criminal Justice or International Justice Day. It is celebrated as an effort to acknowledge the emerging system of international criminal justice. It is mostly observed by people related to law and by judicial activist groups around the world. International Justice Day is held on the anniversary of the International Criminal Court, which is the only court for the prosecution of individuals against major criminal crimes. This day reminds us of the importance of pursuing justice, being accountable for mass atrocities, legal obligation, and moral necessity. It also reflects the victims of genocide, crimes against humanity, and war crimes. Everyone must make an effort on this day to create more justice and peace worldwide.

At his best, man is the noblest of all animals; separated from law and justice he is the worst.” – Aristotle
