President Ronald Reagan created National Ice Cream Day on July 9, 1984. He announced July as National Ice Cream Month and the third Sunday of July as National Ice Cream Day. The joint resolution 298, was initiated by Senator Walter Dee Huddleston of Kentucky to declare the month and a day of July for ice cream. The ice cream was then recognized as a fun and nutritious food that must celebrate for its liking. This day was established to appreciate the most loved dessert of millions of people all around the world. This day is considered to be the favorite holiday of people of all ages. However, the origination of ice cream is claimed by many. In the United States, it is believed that Europeans brought ice creams and soon reached all the houses of the wealthy until the 19th century when technology advanced, and mass production was started. Thus, celebrating the old dish in your favorite style.
