Jeff Goldblatt in 2005 created the National Get Over It Day after having trouble getting over an ex-girlfriend. But he recognised it was a universal concept that many could relate to and he also wrote a poem on it which quickly went viral and has since been covered by Good Morning America, ESPN SportsCenter, and many other media outlets worldwide.
