In 1996, Hoffman opened a little museum with 80 covers in Portland, Maine. Hoffman got this idea when she saw 5-7 covers lying in her closet uselessly. Now the museum has more than 700 covers in all shapes and sizes. The museum also holds a Guinness world record for keeping the most significant number of umbrella covers in the world. This museum creates awareness about the cover and its uses.
