International Ninja Day is an annual celebration held on December 5th of every year. Ninjas are a covert agent who is known for their espionage, sabotage, assassination, infiltration, and guerrilla warfare. It’s a Day for the spies, the Ninjas. They are clad in black garb that leaves no trace of their presence. International Ninja Day 2021 honors the sneaky and secret masked warriors. People in the present day wouldn’t have seen the ninjas. We would have enjoyed their actions and their brilliance in the movies. Make this fun celebration Day more special by camouflaging yourself with ninja-styled clothes.

“Growing up as a kid, I wanted to be a ninja. In martial arts, even though I did Chinese kung fu, I always wanted to be this secret samurai or a ninja. There’s something about ninjas that was very appealing to me as a kid. So of course, I was climbing a lot of trees and other things and getting up to mischief – good mischief.” – Ray Park

History of International Ninja Day

The celebration of the first International Ninja Day was held in the year 2003. Ninja Burger was created on this Day. The purpose of this observance is to show the people that they deliver their burgers with Ninja speed. It is also the day that commemorates the release of The Last Samurai, a Tom Cruise movie. Ninjas were professional spies in Japan. A ninja is also known as a shinobi. They were the warriors of the Iga Province of Japan during the Sengoku period. The ninjas existed between the 13th and 19th century. They were from the trained group of spies and mercenaries featured as cunning, brave, secretive, and skillful fighters.

International Ninja Day

Ninjas were not the elite class of fighters. They are the warriors raised by the basic people of the countryside without access to proper armor, weapons, and training given to them. Many of the weapons which the Ninja used were from agricultural roots. The ninja did not always work alone, but they worked in groups. In those days, ninjas hadn’t worn the all-black outfit ninjas like films, TV shows, and books that depict them now. These ninjas would often dress like local civilians. The main responsibility of a ninja as a spy was to mingle with his surroundings to do his job. They cannot be identified by their clothing, banners, weapons, and nationality.
