National Root Canal Appreciation Day is celebrated on the second Wednesday of every May. It celebrates the appreciation of doing a root canal. Tooth pain is not a simple thing if you have experienced tooth pain earlier you may have treatment from an endodontist. The Root Canal is for all your damage and irritating tooth and it will recover you from worsening or abscesses. The treatment is used for maintaining your teeth by checking the integrity of the natural bite.

I’ve come to look upon death the same way I look upon root-canal work. Everyone else seems to get through it all right, so it couldn’t be too difficult for me.” – Joseph Heller

History of National Root Canal Appreciation Day

Dr.Chris Kammer introduced this day in 2005. Dr.Kammer is one of famous America’s Favorite Rock’n’Roll Dentists; then in 2004, he performed his original rap song  “Get Out the Brush” at Madison Mallard’s collegiate league ballpark, just for inspiring the 5,991 baseball fans and make them brush their teeth simultaneously. So Dr.Kammer announced this day as National Root Canal Appreciation Day, on May 11, 2005.

How to Celebrate the Day

It can be celebrated with the person who doesn’t get a root canal, moreover, we do not recommend those people for the celebration. On this day you can thank your dentist. Just like National Dental Hygienists Week say thanks to the doctor who put an effort into you. You can also send a thank you card to your dentist for appreciation. Share your experience of a root canal on Social Media by using the hashtag #NationalRootCanalAppreciationDay.

Thank you for reading the post. You can celebrate every day with Happydays365.org and Happy National Root Canal Appreciation Day 2024.
