National Strawberry Day is celebrated on February 27 of every year. Strawberries are cultivated worldwide and it is most appreciated for their characteristic aroma, juicy texture, bright red color, and sweetness. Strawberries are consumed in large quantities either fresh fruit or in prepared foods such as preserves, pies, fruit juices, milkshakes, ice creams, and chocolates also. Artificial Strawberries are used in products like lip gloss, hand sanitizers, candy, perfume, and much more. Hence National Strawberry Day is a perfect day to pay homage to one of the most popular fruits in the world.

I would be lying if i said i cut out all dessert. When I am ptraining, i try to satisfy those cravings with a slightly healthier dessert, like a piece of dark chocolate or whipped cream and strawberries. Those are two of my favorites.” – Josie Loren
