National Personal Trainer Awareness Day is an annual awareness celebration observed on January 2nd of every year. With the start of the new year, all of us would have the resolution to start burning the extra fat, get into shape, eat better to work out more. Often working out needs to be monitored by a personal trainer in the gym, without whom things would be worst while working out. National Personal Trainer Awareness Day aims to highlight how busy the trainers are throughout January in fulfilling the resolution of every one of us. It is the perfect time to show some love and appreciation to those trainers who work hard to make you achieve the target.

“It’s easy to motivate a client when they are sitting on a bench right in front of you, but the real challenge for a trainer is to have that motivation exist even when you are not around.” – Jessie Pavelka

History of National Personal Trainer Awareness Day

There was no exact mention of National Personal Trainer Awareness Day. But the origin of this celebration Day started at the beginning of the year 2000. Jim Labadie and Joey Atlas were the two fitness professionals who saw people in large numbers have opted to sign up for the workout session as a new year resolution to lose weight. As a result, the personal trainer’s life in the gym has become completely busy as they were scheduled to train many people during January. These professionals made themselves available to help the trainees fulfill the promises of their resolutions come into reality.

National Personal Trainer Awareness Day 2018 - January 2

Personal Trainer Awareness Day was created with the intention of saying thanks to all those personal trainers from all over the world. The Special Day celebrates them as their lives are turned upside down at the beginning of January every year. These personal trainers are the ones who work hard to help us to reach our fitness goals. ‘Come on, you can do it’ and ‘you have almost done’ are the positive, encouraging words we would have often heard in the gym from personal trainers. So this day is celebrated to honor the hard work they do for their trainees and appreciate them for sticking around the gym.

How to Celebrate National Personal Trainer Awareness Day

Thank your personal trainer on this Day as to show your gratitude for him/her. Make sure you do a little more hard work on this Day while working out to make your trainer feel happy. Tell your trainer about the positive things you think of him/her, and let bliss appears on their face. Spend some extra time to reduce your calories. You can even ask your trainer to relax for a moment. If you have attained your workout goals, then it is because of your trainer, so thank the trainer for everything he/she does for you.
