History of National Be An Angel Day
Jayne Howard Feldman was the person who first established National Be An Angel Day in the year 1993. It was started as a day to encourage people to do any random acts of kindness thereby providing support and help for those who are in need of it. Kindness is the state of being friendly, charitable, and considerate of others. It is the virtue of oneself and is regarded as a value in various cultures and religions. Angels are regarded as the supernatural, holy spirits, and they are thought to be the reason for protecting humans. Although one cannot be the real angels in this century, it is possible for anyone to show the same kindness as they are known for.
Even if you don’t want to be an angel, just be someone who can give. It is really easy for someone to be kind and help others as if the person has thought to do things selflessly. Live in a way such that your kindness acts a language even the deaf can hear and the blind can see. In simple, never expect a return for anything you do.
