Job Action Day is celebrated on the first Monday of every November. Job Action Day is created to help the peoples in their professional lives to access their carriers, make plans and to take action steps. It is a perfect day to put your career and job in the forefront by making necessary plans and taking certain actions.
“If a man is called to be a streetsweeper, he should sweep streets even as Michelangelo painted, or Beethoven composed music, or Shakespeare wrote poetry. He should sweep streets so well that all the hosts of heaven and earth will pause to say, here lived a great streetsweeper who did his job well.” – Martin Luther King
History of Job Action Day
In 2008, Quintcareers created the Job Action Day. The Job Action Day was developed under the sponsorship of LiveCareer, the leading website for job seekers and career changers. It was designed to encourage the job seekers to think outside the box and to focus on getting a job which fulfills their ambitions. There is a common belief that people must understand their passions while searching for work: “to find a job which brings them satisfaction and fulfillment, and not to settle for anything less.”
