History of National Floral Design Day
National Floral Design Day was initially established as a unique method of celebrating the birthday of Carl Rittner; he founded the Rittners School of Floral Design about 60 years ago in Boston. Carl Rittner is an explorer in floral art education. National Floral Design Day became an official day in the year 1995 after Governor of Massachusetts, William F. Weld announced this day officially as Floral Design Day. Floral Design art form has a variety of styles that reflect various cultural, social, and religious trends. It is believed that like many other art forms, the floral design has traditional roots in the Egyptian temple contribution to gods. Then as the year’s pass, this Floral design art changed having different unique traditions and customs. This Floral Designinduasrty is a multi-billion dollar industry that contributes a lot to our economy.
