National Public Gardens Day is celebrated every Friday before Mother’s Day. The day was conducted to promote the awareness of botanical gardens, zoos, arboreta, historic gardens, and other North American public gardens. The day was started in 2009, which is started especially to raise public awareness regarding the educational resources provided to the public garden in the local community. The National Publica Garden Day is adopted by some members of the American Public Gardens Association. Then, the association conducted some highlighting programs like plant conservation, water conservation, the preservation of green spaces, and home gardening.

Grief can be the garden of compassion. If you keep your heart open through everything, your pain can become your greatest ally in your life’s search for love and wisdom.” – Rumi
