Thank You Thursday

Thank you Thursday is observed on April 26 of every year. Thank you is not just a word, it is a means of expressing your gratitude and recognition. Thank You Thursday is a wonderful opportunity to show your appreciation to people who made a positive change in your life, who helped you during your hard times and made things easier, and to people who love you lot. Showing a simple gratitude in both personal and corporate relationship can make a big difference in the happiness and relationship of those involved.

Thank you’ is the best prayer that anyone could say. I say that one a lot. Thank you expresses extreme gratitude, humility, understanding.” – Alice Walker.

History of Thank you Thursday

The Origin and history of Thank you Thursday are not known but this day was inspired by the extraordinary work of American author, Jon Gordon. This day was created both to spread positivity, and to spread happiness in someone’s life. This simple act of gratitude can change even better the life of the people. Jon Gordon is not only an author but a great speaker; he has written many books on how to better attitudes, discipline etc. Fortune 500 companies, sports teams, and ordinary people have benefitted a lot from his books and speeches. When you appreciate people who work for you for their hard work, efforts, and for all that they have done for your company, then it will make your workers happy, and it helps to improve productivity. And in any personal relationships, a simple thank you will put a smile on everyone’s face, and the misunderstandings will just disappear.
