Simply stress is a real joy killer for humans. Stress serves solid confidence in human biology, but our modern lives have made about a remainder of a cause that bothers us from day to day lives. History of National Stress Awareness Day

National Stress Awareness Day has been celebrated every November, since 1992. International Stress Management Association (ISMA) had established the Stress Awareness Day to provide help tip information on stress, and tactics on how to manage our stress in both companies and individuals. The organization is directed on helping employers and employees help each other by providing complete guides to establishing a plan within their organization, and people by looking after their health and well-being on a day-to-day basis.

In a 1999 report, the Health and Safety Executive (HSE) stated that the effects of work like stress cost UK employers between £353 to £381 million per year, with the number of days, lost progressing to double over the following five years. Today, as of 2017 the HSE expects that the total number of UK workers suffering significant stress, depression, or anxiety is around 488,000 people, with 11.7 million working days lost over the period in question. Calculating for 45% of all days lost to ill health, these figures underline just how severe the problem is and need urgent attention of staff, managers, and employees.
