History of National Drive-Thru Day
National Drive-Thru Day was created by America’s first drive-thru burger chain, Jack in the Box. They created the day to celebrate the most loved convenience by vehicle. Drive-thru itself was created by Jordan Martin of United States, in the 1930s. Later the idea was soon spread to the other countries. It is believed to be first used in the Grand National bank with the help of drive-up window teller at St. Louis, Missouri in 1930. In 1947, first drive-thru restaurant was recorded, which was called as Red’s Giant Hamburger at Missouri. This service has made shopping easy and quick.
