History of National Chocolate Cake Day

The creator or inventor of National Chocolate Cake Day is still unknown. Americans consumed Chocolate Cakes as a beverage until the 1830s. But at that period, most of the flavors that we saw today haven’t existed. Dover post said that Chocolate cake was born when the doctor and a chocolate maker teamed up in an old mill in 1765. They made Chocolate Cake by grounding up the cocoa beans between the two huge milestones to make a thick syrup. Then they poured the liquid into mold-shaped cakes. As the day went on it was changed into a beverage for the American people.
